Homework

In addition to 15 minutes of independent reading, fourth graders are
expected to spend 30 minutes each night on homework that is assigned
Monday through Thursday. If your child is spending longer than
15 minutes on any one assignment, it is okay to stop him/her and
write a note on the homework page or in his/her agenda book.

ASSIGNMENTS MIGHT BE ADJUSTED/INDIVIDUALIZED AT

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
- Please make sure your child has a working set of headphones for in class use.  THANK YOU!!!
- Please check in with your child about his/her homework as often as
possible, and help him/her to plan around busy afternoons. We do
not require parents to sign homework agenda books unless
homework completion becomes an issue. Also, we do expect
students to use their homework binders throughout the entire school
year, which means they must carry them to and from school
everyday. Thank you for your support in helping the students
develop independent and responsible work habits!!!
