Both State and Federal laws prohibit discrimination in the
public schools. No person shall be
excluded from or discriminated against in admission to a public school of any
town, or in obtaining the advantages, privileges and courses of study of such
public school on account of race, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation,
national origin, gender identity or handicap.
No school may exclude a child from any course, activity, service or
resource available in that public school on account of race, color, sex,
religion, sexual orientation, national origin, gender identity or
disability.
